What was the highlight of Alona Northland Resort

Wonderful

The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with really hot showers. The housekeeping staff were awesome. The swimming pool was a nice size and shape to swim and just relax. It even had a small jet spa and fountain which they sometimes turned on. Breakfast was simple but nice. I loved the Continental breakfast with fresh fruit. Airport shuttle was very convenient too.

Excellent stuff but the hotel needs improvement

The staff tried very hard to make us comfortable and tried to do all they could to make our stay nice.

The toilet seat fell off on to the floor they also there is no phone in the room so the only way to reach the desk is to walk down stairs for us to flights of stairs or call them on your cell phone . Also there are no hand towels . They said they ordered hand towels from china and they had not yet arrived . But they gave us a normal towel to accommodate us. They tried very hard to help us what physical things not very good .

What was the highlight of Alona Northland Resort

All in all, staying at Alona Northland Resort was a great choice as it met our family’s needs for the most part.

My family and I enjoyed the spacious and clean rooms. The pool was a great way of spending time in the water on rainy days. The resort also has a billard table which was a good activity in the evenings or on rainy days. The property is well located and well maintained, away from the noisy Alona main road so we were able to enjoy quiet and peace. Private parking is also available for guests which was awesome for us as we were able to park our rented car that we used to do some tours on the island.

The included breakfast wasn’t exceptional. You can choose between American, continental and Filipino breakfast. Unfortunately, the bar was closed so an extra hangout place at the property is simply unavailable which would have been a great option for rainy moments.

Family friendly

Room is spacious, restaurant food (albeit limited menu) is at par with outside restos, courteous staffs, early check-in and late check out (3pm) options (for a cost and depending on availability of room) makes it convenient for family travellers like us (with kids and seniors), airport transfer and tour packages can also be easily arranged. It’s a 10-15mins walk (depending on your pace) to the beach.

Cash and gcash payment options only for hotel-related expenses and cash only for tours. No brewed coffee option for the inclusive breakfast

overall pretty good

Location was good and within 10 minutes to the beach. Everything was clean as well.

There were too many signs about fees (fees for bringing in outside food and bev, corkage fee, fee for doing laundry in the bathroom.) It felt a bit unwelcoming.

Very Good

Loved how the resort works with the motorcycle rental companies and has the motorcycle delivered to the resort and when you check out you just leave your motorcycle, keys, and helmets with the resort and they turn in.

I didn't know about the complimentary waters that are given out daily until one of the last days.

Wonderful

nice hotel good value for money

it not just this hotel .. but I don’t like them using glasses for drinks within the pool area … kids are running around and guests are drinking alcohol , I just think it’s a bad accident waiting to happen .. they could invest in some plastic glasses

The facilities at this place was amazing, quiet and very cosy, but the restaurant lacked supervision

We enjoyed the facilities very much, the pool was very nice and the bar was cozy and clean.

The restaurant wasn't up to the rest of places standard, it was dirty, since they did not clean the tables. The restaurant was also missing a lot of ingredients which limited our choices of breakfast. We got the feeling that the food and the restaurant itself was second priority for the place.

- rooms are nice and spacious - location is very good and quiet - clean and well maintained (both rooms and shared amenities)

- poor breakfast (same 3 choices every day, and extremely small - one egg and two pieces of bread) - rooms 2xx have wooden doors and it s kind of the same of these are shut or open (noisy) -

best family vacation we had. great accomodation. the staffs were great

location- quiet, a good walk to the beach. rooms- clean, comfortable and updated. I really love the porch

Fantastic.

The room was big and spacious, it was clean, the linens are clean, wifi is fast. For the room it was perfect for us.

Only things is there's red ants coming in . We have brought our cake for my little girl's birthday then we put it in the mini bar table, but few minutes later there's so many red ants. And also the pool, it's not that clean,
